I would like to give more information directly and easily used by those who want to settle and / or do business in the Philippines, I thought it might be useful to create a tool that follows the news country, not on a daily basis, I'm not structured to, but monthly.
I am thinking of a more detailed treat more depth and detail a number of issues that will directly interest those who wish to come to invest, create or acquire a business, do business or simply generate some income on the archipelago to live ...

The scale of the needs of the country is immense, especially in infrastructure and technology; tourism is expected to explode in the next five years, the food is developing and many opportunities open to foreigners.

'The Letter of Manila and the Philippines' deal especially the following topics:

               - Creation and implementation costs,
               - Economy and Finance,
               - Opportunities and investment opportunities,
               - Legislation,
               - Life business

I also give information on different markets; such as trends, developments, opportunities.

Will be processed first tourism, electronics, farming, agriculture, food, wines and spirits, road transport, shipping, aviation, real estate, etc.
I will also address the areas of software and services, garage equipment, meat chain, from tableware, industrial valves, etc., depending on the evolution of these

And then the news in general, what happens on the archipelago.

I'll example you talk in this issue of 000 new tourist visa in force since 1 August 2013.

I also will put up you with lists of business opportunities, jobs that are created or become available for foreigners on new ideas to generate income on the archipelago, in this follow-up to my little book '"101 Ways to generate income in the Philippines, '' to live '.
My blogs, as usual, remain more focused retirement living in the Philippines, tourism, travel, discovery ...
The letter is particularly aimed at those who wish to relocate to the Philippines to do business or at least to make a living properly

    COMMENT OF THE MONTH

The Philippine economy is booming which has led to a growth of over 6% in the first semester and a 7.1% growth in the third quarter and 6.8% in the fourth quarter of 2012 \
It was 7.8% in the first quarter of 2013 (reduced to 7.7)% and is similar to the second quarter.

The most optimistic forecast which projected an increase of 5/6% for the year 2012 (the Philippine government estimates) were exceeded. Estimates of international financial institutions were based, they, to a maximum increase of 5%.

Forecasts of the World Bank amounted to respectively 6.2% for 2013 and 6.4% for 2014.
This is evident in the field, mainly in real estate and infrastructure.
Part of Manila and its suburbs became permanent sites. New towns springing up everywhere, roads and highways are increasing.
Journey Ternate / Manila (56 kilometers), who was half past two, there is still this two years, is now reduced to less than one thirty; sometimes one hours.
If Makati continues to build and modernize, are now Taguig, Pasig, Mandaluyong, Global City, Alabang and others that literally explode.
Shopping centers, size and modernity extraordinary mushrooming and believe me, they are popular.

Why such economic growth while part of the world is mired in a crisis that began there nearly five years now?

Sovereign debt crisis in Europe, the United States which does not really leave after the subprime crisis, Brazil and India fizzle, China which heats up, etc. and the Philippines accusing insolent growth.

Several factors contribute to this growth.
First, and as I have long said, the country has a high growth potential.

A youth labor, abundant and well trained, the fundamentals are good, important mineral reserves and now a government that seems to reassure investors.

Contrary to what one might think of (or) crisis has not had any impact on the number of OFWs, these workers as they earn their living abroad, they are even more numerous . There were 10.46 million officially OFW in 17 countries in 2011, which compares with 9.45 million of these OFWs who worked abroad in 2010.

The government, which had stopped its investments upon the arrival of President Aquino to power in June 2010, is now investing heavily, mainly in infrastructure projects.

Exports have suffered moderately against the blow of the crisis.
The components sector and electronics maintains more or less its positions before the crisis.

The BPO sector continued its strong growth and the employees in this sector contribute to the emergence of a relatively affluent middle class, which of course benefits the consumer goods sector.

Government stability and confidence that seems to inspire benefits the PPP projects, the 'Public Private Partnership' which attract many foreign investors.
Even manufacturing is undergoing a revival and displays for two years a growth of around 8% per year.

The tourism sector is expected to grow rapidly, following the pace of development of infrastructure, infrastructure that is an obstacle to a more sustainable development.
By cons, in the region of Cebu, the furniture industry is apparently in crisis.
Traditional buyers greatly slow their imports due to the sluggish markets. The United States, Japan, Europe have slowed imports.

Sectors that should soon provide opportunities: mining, copper, nickel, gold and zinc; with hydrocarbons exploration and exploitation of gas fields and perhaps oil.

In mid-year 2013, all indicators are green.
The only slight concern may come from a too strong peso.

Conflict even limited with China over the Spratly's and Scarborought Schoal still possible, but it is unlikely to escalate.

For those who wish to start a business in the Philippines, doing business there, the moment is now. In only two or three years, it may be too late, the best seats have been taken and the entry ticket may be significantly higher.

As usual, the money from the sale will be put into an account intended to help local families in need. Purchase of milk, rice and canned goods, clothing and shoes, coffee, sugar, medicines and setting the school excluded children of the system because of too much poverty.

This is something we already do, on our scale and according to our possibilities.

In the letter of October, I will present 'Alexandra', after his first and his second operation. Operations partially paid by you, the sale of my two books.
Thank you to you on behalf of Alex.

There are just over two months she underwent a third surgery, but cosmetic surgery this time. Perhaps a fourth operation is necessary, but in several years, we have time. The girl was born without palaces, without septum and almost no nose.

We could decently leave it in this state.

Experiences, views, opinions and comments, as always are welcome.
